The Tokyo Whisky & Spirits Competition is Japan’s only whisky competition and one of the largest in Asia. At the TWSC23 event, held for the fifth time in Tokyo in May 2023, a Teerenpeli whisky won gold and another took silver.
Whisky culture is thriving in Japan, making it one of the key export markets for Teerenpeli Brewery & Distillery.
“We are extremely pleased with the competition results, as the TWSC awards highlight the excellent quality of Teerenpeli whiskies. This is a great way to raise awareness of Teerenpeli’s single malt whiskies among Japanese consumers,” says Mr. Igarashi, representative of Teerenpeli’s Japanese importer, Smile Corp.
