In September 2026, we filled an oak cask with the spirit and moved it into a shipping container to mature. Now you have the opportunity to become part of this journey by purchasing your own share of Apulanta Whisky while it is still maturing. For the next five years, the spirit will rest in its oak cask, maturing to the sound of Apulanta’s music played at a carefully selected frequency. Day after day, year after year.

This celebratory whisky is maturing in carefully selected oak casks, accompanied by the music of Apulanta. The music has been specially tuned to 432 Hz, a frequency associated with perfect harmony. As the music plays through the speakers, it creates fluctuations in air pressure and vibrations that travel through the surroundings, the shipping container and the casks.
What kind of mark the oak, time and Apulanta’s music will ultimately leave on the whisky remains to be discovered in October 2031…
The whisky is maturing in a shipping container located at Teerenpeli Distillery, in carefully selected oak casks accompanied by the music of Apulanta. The music has been specially tuned to 432 Hz, referring to a tuning system in which the note A4 is tuned to 432 hertz. Today, the most widely used international standard is A4 = 440 Hz.
When music is tuned to 432 Hz, the entire tuning system is slightly lower in pitch than with 440 Hz tuning. The 432 Hz tuning has become associated with the idea that it produces a particularly harmonious, natural and calming sound. Some studies have linked listening to music tuned to 432 Hz with slightly lower heart rate and blood pressure, as well as reduced perceived anxiety, compared with music tuned to 440 Hz.
One share includes 6 × 0.7 L bottles of whisky. You can purchase one or more shares of Apulanta Whisky. The price of each share is paid in two instalments: an advance reservation payment and a final redemption payment.
• The first instalment is a €300 advance reservation payment (incl. VAT). Once the payment has been made, you will receive a reservation certificate and an Apulanta X Teerenpeli plywood coaster.
• The second instalment is the final redemption payment, currently estimated at €333. This will be paid to Alko once the whisky has matured, been bottled and is ready for collection in October 2031.
The final amount of the redemption payment will be determined by the alcohol tax and VAT rates in effect when the whisky is ready, as well as any handling fees charged by the collection point. Therefore, the final total price of a share may differ from the current estimate of €633. Ownership of the share will transfer to the buyer once both payments have been paid in full.

Apulanta Whisky will be bottled in a single batch in October 2031, after maturing in oak casks for five years accompanied by the music of Apulanta. The whisky will be bottled at approximately 43% ABV.
The bottles included in your share can be collected at a date to be announced separately, upon presentation of your reservation certificate and proof of payment of the final redemption fee.
