Kuopio Jazz & Blues ry’s live nights are kicking off once again at Teerenpeli!
Jazz guitarist and composer Mathias Sandberg, described as “one of Finland’s best-kept secrets” by the American music magazine Jazziz, is among the country’s most active jazz musicians.
The Mathias Sandberg Trio’s albums have received rave reviews on both sides of the Atlantic and have been frequently played on jazz radio stations across Europe, the United States, South America, Asia, and Australia. The trio features Zacharias Holmkvist (Master of Music) on double bass and the long-career veteran Stefan Brokvist on drums. Over the last two years, the trio has performed more than 100 concerts across Finland, from Enontekiö in the north to Helsinki in the south.
