Kuopio Jazz & Blues ry: Tina Bednoff & the TB’s

Genre-wise, Bednoff moves along the paths of electric blues, but in this lineup, the saxophones have a powerful say as well: Panu Syrjänen’s tenor and Jarmo Rouvinen’s alto dominate the soundscape, maybe not quite like their namesakes the J.B.’s, but almost! Bednoff and Ykä Putkinen provide a sharp contrast with their guitars, while the rhythm is handled by bassist Juha Rantapuro and drummer Jani Ahtiainen, both of whom have also played in Cocktailers.
