Iikka Kivi: “A Special Relationship with Nature” Stand-up Show

Iikka Kivi’s stand-up solo, “A Special Relationship with Nature,” aims to awaken Finns to experience, cherish, and protect their own connection to nature. It also asks how the descendants of bear hunters became electric scooter riders stressed out by Canada geese. As the atmosphere tightens and divides deepen, it’s important to remember that one thing unites us all: Finnish nature.

This cheerfully prickly performance features a wide range of Finnish creatures, from the dwindling population of willow tits to the rapidly growing number of summer cottagers. While the topic is serious and the state of nature is poor, the show doesn’t focus on preaching or finger-wagging. Instead, it aims to inspire, find solutions, and encourage people to discover their own relationship with nature.

Iikka Kivi’s solo has toured dozens of locations, attracting thousands of viewers and earning plenty of praise for its thought-provoking and hilarious content. This autumn’s gigs are among the last of the tour, so it’s worth coming while you still can!
