Barrel Aged Kellariolut NO2 – Imperial Stout

Description

Barrel Aged Imperial Stout is a barrel-aged version of Kellariolut No. 2 Imperial Stout. Aged for four months in an old Bourbon Quarter Cask whisky barrel, this Imperial Stout has aromas of roasted malt, lingonberry, and rich fullness, with a subtle hint of whisky in the nose.

Barrel aging adds structure and depth to the flavor. The smooth maltiness is complemented by a touch of vanilla along with oak and whisky notes from the bourbon barrel. A full-bodied and warming beer that invites you to linger and enjoy it for a while. It is recommended to serve at around 10–14°C to allow the beer’s wonderful aromas to fully develop.
