Teerenpeli mural in Lahti

28.8.2019

Teerenpeli Group continues the celebration of its 25th anniversary in a grand way with a mural, also known as wall painting.

The mural will depict elements of Lahti’s local identity, the world’s purest groundwater, trees and Teerenpeli’s copper stills. It serves as a reminder of Lahti’s strong roots in beverage production and the city’s role as home to Finland’s largest whisky distillery. The mural’s color palette is inspired by the building itself and the surrounding urban landscape, combined with Teerenpeli’s distinctive branding colors familiar from its labels.

The mural will be painted on the southern end wall of Rautatienkatu 13 in Lahti, based on an idea developed further by illustrator Laura Lehtinen, whose proposal was awarded in the Taideakseli project’s design competition.

Teerenpeli’s anniversary year kicked off in March with a special celebration week, and throughout the year, popular beers have been re-released. A book is also set to be published in November.
